Modern, Contrast Kitchen ft. Jenn-Air Appliances
As I've mentioned before, I'm really inspired by nature when it comes to putting together designs. What I love so much about this time of year is how moody and dramatic the landscape becomes. The misty mornings, the foliage, the autumn sky during sunset, it's so magical with all of the texture and earthy, warm colors bleeding through. I wanted to create a kitchen that I would want to be in while cutting into a pumpkin pie or stirring a pot of butternut-squash soup. The high contrast between black and white alludes to the looming shadows cast by longer nights that come with the season, while the warm wood plays off of harvest colors that are so comforting. The rug is also one of my favorite details with its muted fall colors and warm woolen texture.
